MAINTAIN CONSISTENCY, SIMIYU RALLIES TEAMMATES AHEAD OF CHEMELIL SUGAR TIE

Kenyan Premier League resumes this weekend after a two-week break for Betway FKF Shield Cup tournament.

After a three day off, the team resumed it’s training sessions in preparation for Saturday clash away against Chemelil Sugar FC.

Club’s new signing David Simiyu has rallied his teammates to go for a win;

“We’ve been having proper preparations after the short break, everyone is really giving their best because we have a target to achieve. Chemelil is a good side despite the challenges they are facing thus am urging every player to go for a win so as to maintain consistency.”

“We started the year on a positive way and it will only be good for us and the team if we get to maintain the momentum. Each game is like a final to us now and we not going to underate any opponent because football is funny and such can be costly. ”

It will be a moment of mixed feelings;

“The atmosphere and fans in Awasi will be amazing. They are so passionate in supporting their club and they always come in numbers. It will be a great moment for me full of mixed feelings but firstly it will be business because we are on a mission and every game counts. It feels good to have scored my first goal for the club in our last encounter and am looking forward to continue adding more.” Said Simiyu

The midfielder joined us from Chemelil Sugar and will be hoping to take on his former employer when the two sides meet on Saturday.
