Thika Municipal Stadium is found in Thika town which is a vibrant town located approximately 40kms North East of Nairobi. Thika town is quite accessible via the Thika road super highway as well as by railway. It is the home stadium of Thika United FC which plays in the Kenya Premier League and is also used to host local football matches and athletics events.

Thika Municipal stadium has a capacity of 5,000 people and is maintained by the Thika municipal council.
