Stanley targets ten assists in his maiden season

Sofapaka’s new signing Ben Stanley has admitted to high demands at the club but targets contributing ten assists and more in his first season with the team.

For the few months I have been with the team, I have learned a lot. There is a big difference between the National Super League and the Kenyan Premier League in terms of play, experience, and competition. The top-flight league is very competitive and demanding, and this has made me step up my game in order to fit in with the team and compete effectively. Said Stanely

I understand I am in for a challenging task because the demands here are high and the coach has shown so much confidence in me. It is going to be such an experience for me, being my first season. I have trained and blended well with the team, and I believe I will give my best throughout the campaign. He added

The coach has explained to us his targets for the season, and we have to work towards achieving the said targets. Working towards continental football needs a lot of commitment, and personally, I want to be of help to the team by contributing at least ten assists or more and equally some goals to my name. I will be happy to help the club achieve its goals and be satisfied with my personal contributions at the end of the season. Concluded Stanely

The former Migori Youth Football Club midfielder will be making his debut campaign in the FKF Premier League season, which is set to kick off in a week’s time.
