OUMA LAMENTS ON MISSED OPPORTUNITIES AGAINST HOMEBOYZ

Ouma laments on missed opportunity against the Homeboyz.

David Ouma on the Homeboyz draw, dropped points, and winless streak

Coach David Ouma faced the club’s media to give his post-match analysis, and below is the full transcript of the manager’s interview.

On a point in Bukhungu
It was a good match and a good display from both teams. We gave a good account of ourselves and we really wanted the three points. Unfortunately, we had to settle for a point.

On the players’ input:
I am delighted with the way my players played on Sunday. They were compact, contained the host and forced our opponents into their own half. They played according to instructions, and that gives me confidence moving into future games.

On the league standings,
We have not made any progress on the log despite the three consecutive draws. We had a perfect opportunity the last two weekends to make strides in the standings, but we failed to utilize our chances. We had a golden chance from the spot to register our second win of the year, but we failed to convert. My player should have taken more responsibility for such a direct chance.

On the winless streak
It is a concern for us because we have been doing well in all areas, and that is evident from our display. Our only undoing has been the final third, and I feel we have been so unlucky, but we hope we will get it right moving forward.
