On the bankers’ tie..
The KCB match will be a tough match for both sides. We are coming from defeats last weekend and definitely will both be looking to get back to winning ways. However, the match offers a perfect opportunity for us to get back on our footing.
On pressure for results..
We prepare and play to win matches. Positive results are what is demanded from us and equally the playing unit all throughout. However, when we do not get the results, pressure cripples in. Currently we find ourselves in that state but we hope we will turn around the results beginning on Saturday.
On how important Saturday fixture is..
We have not had a good run since the year began and that is not encouraging. We really wanted to have a different year. Sadly, we have had a rough start to it, but there is always a turning point and I believe the KCB match will be the perfect start. The fixture is so important for us because we need to win our remaining matches to realise our season target.
On major undoing..
Generally, we have a very good team,we have been compact in our play, but we have failed in converting our chances. Football is about goals and any half chance counts. We need to be more ruthless and upfront to get results beyond the reach of our opponents.
On team news..
We have two major setbacks in Nixon Omondi and Sébastien Sunday. The duo have been regulars in the squad and missing them ahead of Saturday’s fixture is a blow to us. Despite their absence, we have good replacements in the squad to fill in the void. We will also miss Ronack Otieno and David Kingatua due to illness.
