Sofapaka will take on KCB on Saturday in Betking Premier League Matchday 19 at Ruaraka Sports Ground.
Addressing the club’s media ahead of Saturday’s fixture, the manager has termed the Bankers match a perfect chance to bring to a halt to the current poor results. This what the tactician had to say.
On facing on form Bankers coming from huge defeat on Monday;
“We have put City Stars defeat behind us, we want to forget it as fast as possible to have everyone in the right mindset come Saturday. We are facing an on-form side but this game is so important to us. A win is our priority in this fixture to bring an end to our poor form. The team has depth and quality to compete, we got 15 matches to go and so I believe we shall find our way up the log.”
On mounting pressure after back to back losses;
“In football, any loss mounts pressure and so has been our case. Yes, we feel the pressure because expectations are high but we are calm because we understand we are simply out of form. We haven’t had the best of results but we believe we shall soon overturn the results.”
On team news
“We have been dealt two huge setbacks, striker Timothy Otieno has been ruled out due to a knee injury while custodian Aigba Moubarak will miss the game due to suspension after being sent off against City Stars.”
The match is slated for Saturday at Ruaraka Sports Ground.
