Sofapaka’s new rockie, David Obasanjo, is happy after joining Batoto Ba Mungu. The youngster, who put pen to paper after a one-month trial with the squad, is pleased with his big move and looks forward to a rewarding experience.
“I feel so proud to have joined one of the top teams in the country. “It has always been my dream to play in the best league in the country, and I am so grateful to have been able to realize my dream,” he said on the club’s website, www.sofapakafc.co.ke.
“The challenge ahead is a huge one and demands a lot of input from the playing unit, and I am not an exception. I am determined to help the squad collectively perform at its best.” He added
“I am aware I have seniors in my position and that means limited playing time. Nevertheless, it is a learning process, and since I am with a group of very experienced keepers, whom I have a lot of hope will gradually help me through the process, I am an optimistic individual, and even though it may take a little longer, I am patiently working towards my maiden top-flight breakthrough. ” Obasanjo concluded.
The talented youngster has joined the club from St Anthony’s Boys Kitale.
