Lawrence Juma wonder goal was enough as Sofapaka came from a goal down to collect a point against Bidco United.

Host Bidco began the match on high tempo and almost scored the opener ten minutes into the match, Stephen Waruru’s low drive missed the target going out for goal kick.

Ten minutes later Lawrence Juma set through Hansel Ochieng, the striker dribbled past Lambert Oyugi hit a hard one at goal but keeper Mukolwe reacted to clear out the danger.

Three minutes later the host took the lead through Gathu Zacharia from a goal mouth mêlée after a poor clearance by Stephen Okola.

At the half hour mark, Bidco came close to double their lead but Ronack Otieno reacted in time to clear Stephen Waruru’s goal bound attempt

Five minutes later Joe Waithira and Hansel Ochieng combined upfront but the latter’s volley beat the side net for goal kick

On resumption coach Ken Odhiambo made a triple change bringing on Geoffrey Ojunga, Hamid Mohammad and Alex Imbusia for Ronack Otieno, Nixon Omondi and Joe Waithera. The move sparkled change in the attack.

Six minutes later captain Lawrence Juma scored a thunderbolt to draw Sofapaka level.

Ten minutes later, Hamid Mohammad came close to put Sofapaka ahead but the midfielder’s low shot hit the crossbar much to Bidco’s relief.

Fifteen minutes from time Hansel Ochieng and Alex Imbusia had a decent combination, but the winger’s low drive missed the target rolling past Mukolwe for goal kick.

Against the run of play, Sébastien Sunday thought he had given Sofapaka the lead but the midfielder failed to score past custodian Mukolwe Edwin with his attempt narrowly missing the target as the two teams shared a point apiece.
