Coach John Baraza says he expects an entertaining tie when the team plays Tusker FC in a Kenyan Premier League fixture at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos on Sunday. Baraza believes it will be a tie full of goals and is optimistic the team can pick a vital win as the charge for the league title rages on.
“Just like against Mathare, our matches against Tusker are always tough, entertaining and full of goals. I expect it that way when we play them on Sunday. It will be very tough but we go in there expecting to do well,”
“We have done so well in training this week and the win against Posta Rangers in midweek has boosted us. Hopefully we can translate that same form into the pitch.
On the league chase; “Ours is just to continue winning. Of course there was a small advantage when Gor dropped points against KCB but you can only take advantage of the slip of you are winning. We have to focus on ourselves and then see what the end of the season will look like.”
Baraza will have a full house to choose from with no one in the squad injured and he is optimistic the strong side he will field will bring forth good results.
Tusker won the first leg 3-2 and Batoto ba Mungu will be going all out for revenge.
